  • Notes
    • Louisa Gill in her 1907 letter to Wm. Anderson Crawford said that "Isabell had
two sisters and one brother, Benard Anderson, the father of Sam, Robet and
William. Aunt Sally Irons(?) is Anderson the old lady that your Aunt Sarah
took care of and who had lots of money hid in various places, bean pots & etc
was a sister and one they called Aunt Jane, a maiden girl that lived at and
died at little Washington, the old homestead. I think they were of Scotch
      Irish."
